We begin our Sunday morning meetings with all ages together in the main hall. After a short time of worship together the children go to Supergang, which is made up of three different age-appropriate groups. All of our leaders are DBS checked.
The creche is open from 11.15am and there is a team ready to welcome your child. There is lots of time to play and the morning may also include songs, crafts and stories. Our main aim is to help your children feel safe, cared for and also to gently learn a little about Jesus.
Promise Keepers usually begins about 20 minutes into the service, it will be announced by one of our leaders. The group is a place where children can discover God’s love for them, know that they are part of God’s family, and to get to know Jesus for themselves. Playing is a big part of the morning in Promise Keepers but each Sunday may also include singing, craft activities, games, praying together and reading a Bible story – or maybe acting it out!
Transformers is the place to be for 5 – 11 year olds on a Sunday morning! Our Transformers meetings begin roughly 20 minutes after the main meetings start. We have exciting times together, exploring bible stories, worshipping God, playing games, praying together and much more. Our desire for this age group is that they grow in their understanding of who God is and of how much he loves them, allowing them to respond to Jesus for themselves.
The Community Church Bishops Stortford is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
