EXPERIENCE IN WORSHIP
07.06.18 | MAUREEN HOPKINS |
We believe that musical worship is an important way for us to focus on God, His character, goodness and all that He has done for us.
The Bible leads us to expect that when we praise God we will meet Him and learn more about Him. We also believe that God will speak to us. This may be from Bible readings, prayers and prophecies. We spend a good proportion of our services worshipping God, where people may be rejoicing, reflecting, singing, being quiet, lifting up their hands, kneeling, but mostly just being thankful to God.
You are welcome to join in these times as much as you want. We are led musically by one of our bands, and overseen by our church leaders.
Head over to our Song of the Week Page to see some of the songs that we like and sometimes use on a Sunday.
Thinking of joining the worship team?
The worship team is always keen to hear from people who are gifted musicians and are passionate, expressive worshippers of Jesus. Worship team is not about being in a band, but being a part of team who eagerly point toward Jesus through example, music and song. Full info and application form here.
