Talk details
• The Kingdom of God is not depicted in Luke 14 as a round table of equality, but as a long rectangular table where honour can be given and received. Our heart response in seasons when we see others around us receiving high honour while we ourselves seem less favoured exposes how deeply the culture of honour has been cultivated in our hearts.
• Supernatural life flows in relationships characterized by honour. Comparison, jealousy, and bitterness destroy this highway of supernatural blessing and robs us of the ability to accurately reflect the heart of our Father.
• We choose to honour, not because the other person is honourable, but because we are.
